Day 24- Cross Country Training... Day 1- SOCCER!

I just got home from my first day of BOOT CAMP for soccer... It was kinda tough on my feet, mainly 'cause I didn't have any inserts in my shoes... I just hope they start feeling better!

Yesterday, I had my second cross country practice! It was so much fun, mainly because a girl on the team (her name will be Hope, mainly because I want her to stay anonymous) told me on Independence Day that I wouldn't be fast enough for the team, but when she did the time trial, I was about two minutes behind her, and I ran at a little faster pace than two of my friends!  It felt so good to prove her wrong, because Hope was staring at me when I finished. Hope deserved to stare, because she was hating on me, even when I was positive I would be good at this.

I can't wait until our first real practice! That's when I'll have most of the team there, and most of them are my good school friends!

Day 11-Cross Country Training

Training is going well!

I ran a speed test and my time for two miles is 20 minutes because I had burning calves and pain in my left knee and right ankle.

My goal for this cross country season is to be able to run a race at a 6 or 7 minute mile pace.

I hope it ends up that way!

Yay! I finally get a rest day! I have been running 2-3 miles for the past week and I really want this break!

How is  everyone's summer so far?

Mine is going really well!

Now, I'm about to go to the pool!

Day Four- Cross Country Training

I am training for cross country and I have been running since Monday and I have improved. Today, I ran about 3 and a half miles in 30 minutes! That is my best time!
